The Rippies were created by Sean the Don to highlight pilots from around the world and reward talent, innovation, and creative content within the drone community. To Honor Sean's legacy, FPTV is proud to present the 6th Annual Rippies. This Video Award Ceremony recognizes excellence in the field of FPV (First Person View) drone flying and consists of 10 categories. Sean aimed to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to win a Rippie by allowing the community to choose the winners. Winners will be announced live in person, streamed on Youtube and awarded with a Rippie Trophy & a prize compiled from our sponsors.
Fptv is all about highlighting the pilots from the community. We want to give all pilots the attention they deserve. We encourage you to watch all the entries before casting your vote and FPTV will ensure we watch every video submitted Live on stream during our Rippies Nominees Ball.
Official Rules

A pilot may enter 1 submission. .
-May choose 1 category to enter
-May replace video until submissions are closed
( If you submit an early entry and would like to change it later, you may do so as long as submissions are open and you delete your previous video)

Pilot’s must submit original content (youtube links only)

Video must be submitted to the appropriate category.

Videos taken anytime in 2025 are eligible.

FPV (first person view) videos are eligible. Includes Drones, Wings, anything fpv.

Pilot entering must be a member of the FPTV Discord.

Pilots must remain a member of the FPTV discord for the duration of the contest.

Videos must be submitted by 12:00 am Midnight EST December 19th, 2025.

The Rippies will be open for submissions July 1st, 2025.
Voting Rules

To vote , you must be a member of the FPTV Discord by December 19th, 2025 at the time submissions end.

1 vote per category maximum.

3 category minimum. You must vote in 3 different categories.

Voters must remain a member of the FPTV discord for the duration of the contest.

False or fake accounts that cannot be verified will be notified and all activity removed.

Voting will begin at 12:00 am December 27th 2025.

Voting will close 12:00am midnight EST January 18th, 2024

No other emojis will be counted as a vote
Votes will be tallied and winners will be announced
In the event of a Tie, The Don family will watch the finalists and place a collective vote for the winner.
Failure to follow rules can lead to your submission or your vote being removed.
We do want to give everyone a fair chance, so prior to removal, a member of FPTV admins will reach out in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unresolved issues will lead to submissions, votes, or accounts being removed.
